Nikrothal® N40BXT is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy (NiCr alloy) for use at temperatures up to 1100°C (2010°F). It has good ductility after use and good corrosion resistance, except in sulphur containing and certain controlled atmospheres.
Typical applications for Nikrothal® N40BXT are electric heating elements, resistors, and load banks.
