ON NOVEMBER 23 KANTHAL ANNOUNCED A TEMPORARY 3% PRICE SURCHARGE, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1, 2021, ON PRODUCTS RELATED TO ITS HEATING SYSTEMS BUSINESS.

The adjustment is additional to the pricing measure announced in May this year and will be managed through a surcharge on all orders placed on or after December 1, 2021.

“We will carefully monitor the development of costs and will adjust or eliminate the surcharge as soon as these costs stabilize and return to previous levels,” says Anders Björklund, President, Kanthal. “We have been working very intensively with optimizing our cost structure but in order to ensure that we can keep delivering high-quality heating solutions to our customers we also need to adjust prices”.
