Features

Superior mechanical strength: Globar® AS has a Weibull modulus (a measure of the repeatability of mechanical properties in brittle materials) of 14, offering longer, lighter, and more efficient elements than competitors, typically rated below 10.

Optimized for cyclic use: Outperforms competitors by over 40% in cyclic tests at 1,425°C (2600°F), extending element life in intermittent operations.

Chemical Resistance: Features a closed pore structure that limits contamination and condensate penetration, especially in alkali-rich environments like glass production.

Extended lifespan: In heavy glass deposit applications, Globar® AS elements last up to 10 times longer. Optional glazed elements provide additional protection.
