Igniters and flame detectors

Igniters are required for ignition of fuel gas or vapor streams to operate industrial equipment, water heaters, clothes dryers, cooking stoves, etc.

Kanthal® wire provides the spark for ignition while operating at high temperature within the flame stream providing reliability and long life. Kanthal® wire is also used in flame detection, checking for the presence of a flame to provide control and safe operation.
